My Story

In 1998 my lovely wife and I got married in Clifton United Methodist Church.  I was an engineer in 1998 and after getting married I lost my engineering job.  I was not satisfied being an engineer and thought about what I really want to do with my life.  In engineering I did work for P&G and GE and solved problems on material things.  I wanted to solve problems but invest in things that are eternal like people.  This search led me to a dream job of counseling.  I went back to school and got my Master of Arts in Counseling at Cincinnati Bible College and Seminary and graduated in 2002.

From 2002 to 2012 I was a case worker,  individual and family counselor at Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky, Children’s Home of Cincinnati, Hamilton County Job and Family Services and Concern Services.  I did Employee Assistance Program counseling for companies like P&G and GE at Concern Services.  I was now solving emotional problems for people.  In 2012 I started to work at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) working with medical doctors in the Emergency Department.  I have completed over 3,500 psychiatry assessments in the Emergency Department at CCHMC.  I have also done crisis counseling for children and family in outpatient psychiatry at CCHMC.

In 2017 I started Telehealth Hope Counseling and met with people at Clifton United Methodist Church which is the same church where I was married to my lovely wife in 1998.  I am now solving problems for people using material things like computers doing telehealth to serve people.  I use cognitive behavioral theory to help people with anxiety and depression.  I am a New Life credentialed counselor that has helped with New Life’s weekend workshops: Every Man’s Battle and Intimacy in Marriage.  I have helped many people with anxiety, depression, marriage counseling, sexual addiction and anger management. That’s my story, and I’d love to hear yours.
